Executive Director's Message

Dear Prospective Delegates and Distinguished Guests

It is with immense pride and heartfelt anticipation that I welcome you to the journey toward the Monrovia International Model United Nations (MIMUN) Conference 2025, scheduled to take place from November 10–12, 2025, in the Republic of Liberia.

What began as a vision inspired by my experience at BIMUN has now grown into a powerful platform for youth diplomacy in West Africa—one that aspires not only to replicate excellence but to redefine it through the lens of African leadership, unity, and purpose. MIMUN is more than a conference—it is a call to action for young people to take their place at the table of global discourse and decision-making.

To our prospective officials and volunteers, your dedication and leadership will be the lifeblood of this conference. To our delegates, you are the heart of MIMUN—bringing courage, intellect, and passion to debates that mirror the real challenges of our world. To our partners and sponsors, your belief in youth and investment in diplomacy is what makes this vision possible. And to our guests, your presence affirms that this initiative is not just timely, but transformational.

This year, under the theme “Youth, Peace, and Security: Harnessing the Power of Youth for Conflict Prevention and Resolution,” we gather with a shared mission—to empower a new generation of peacebuilders and policy shapers who will leave their mark on the global stage.

Iinvite you all to join us in making MIMUN 2025 a memorable, impactful, and unifying experience. Together, let’s build a platform where diplomacy lives, leadership grows, and history is made.

With determination and hope,
Diamond George Kamu
Executive Director
Monrovia International Model United Nations (MIMUN)
